Hellas Gold once again received acclaim as one of the most sustainable Greek companies. This is an important distinction for the company, which was evaluated for its business performance in relation to Sustainable Development based on the ESG criteria in the "Sustainability Performance Directory" and was ranked in the top leadership bracket of "The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece 2023".
This distinction was achieved thanks to the strategy and policies the company has developed and implements relating to the environment, its social impact, corporate governance and economic growth. Moreover, it confirms the company’s dedication to implementing a sustainable business plan that respects man and the environment, recognising that the two are inextricably linked.

With its central commitment being to operate based on the fundamental principles of responsible mining, Hellas Gold has been implementing its award-winning Sustainability Integrated Management System (SIMS) since 2021 and is also developing an extensive plan of actions relating to its environmental and social impacts (ESMS & ESAP). Within the company, there is ongoing investment in the company's human resources, placing emphasis on ongoing training and development; the unwavering priority is safeguarding the health and safety of Hellas Gold’s employees and associates. At the same time, best environmental management practices have been adopted which truly support the transition to the green economy, and major social projects to ensure the development and prosperity of the local community are either in the planning stage or already under way.
