On Friday the 28th of June, at the Thessaloniki EuroPride event, Mr. George Arfanis from the Internal Communications department had the privilege of engaging with representatives from Diversity Charter to learn about their initiatives. The discussions were enlightening, highlighting Diversity Charter's impactful activities and projects, which resonate deeply with our values and vision at Hellas Gold.
In the upcoming months, we will launch a series of digital seminars which are part of the comprehensive "To Be Inclusive" program focused on diversity and inclusion. These seminars aim to educate, inspire, and equip our team with the knowledge and tools necessary to foster a more inclusive environment.
The digital seminars will be a comprehensive exploration of critical themes essential to our workplace culture at Hellas Gold. Participants can anticipate a deep dive into fundamental concepts of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion. Unconscious Bias will also be addressed with practical strategies aimed at fostering fairness and equality. Inclusive Leadership sessions will empower a culture where every voice is heard and valued. Furthermore, focusing on Preventing Workplace Harassment, the seminars will aim to ensure a safe and respectful workplace environment for all employees. Specialized sessions will specifically Empower Women in Leadership, nurturing their growth and impact within our organization. These seminars are designed to equip us all with the knowledge and tools necessary to advance our commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion at Hellas Gold.
On March 31, 2022, Hellas Gold signed the Diversity Charter, an initiative of the European Commission, KEAN - Cell of Alternative Youth Activities, and Diversity Charter Greece, to promote equality and diversity in Greek businesses. By accepting the terms outlined by the Diversity Charter, Hellas Gold reaffirms its commitment to developing a workplace of equal opportunities without exclusions.
Additionally, Hellas Gold has received the SHARE Equality Label from the Ministry of Labor for its commitments and policies promoting equal treatment of genders, equality in decision-making, and work-life balance regardless of gender and other types of discrimination among employees.
