WE FOSTER AN EQUITABLE & INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE

We support diversity, equity and respect in the workplace

At Hellas Gold, we actively promote diversity and inclusion. We develop policies, and we design programs that safeguard each employee’s uniqueness, while actively participating in initiatives that foster equity and diversity as well as work-life balance. With these initiatives, Hellas Gold demonstrates its commitment to promoting an equitable, diverse and respectful workplace.

This way, we create a global map of activities that align with our three guiding principles.

We respect diversity: Diversity is the power that drives better business decisions.

We are learning and we control our habits: Inclusive leadership is the main requirement for sustainable diversity.

We improve our procedures: Unconscious bias is eliminated through corporate procedures to achieve meritocracy.

SHARE EQUALITY LABEL

We promote gender equality

Hellas Gold is one of the first companies in Greece to receive the SHARE Equality Label, jointly awarded by the General Secretariat for Family Policy And Gender Equality, the Research Center for Gender Equality (KETHI) and the Organization for the Professional Empowerment of Women “Women On Top”.

We have developed a set of policies that provides the framework for the training, assessment and growth of our people for workplaces that promote gender equality, equality in decision-making, and work-life balance, regardless of gender or other discriminations among the employees.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN MINING

We create career and leadership opportunities for women

Eldorado is a proud sponsor of International Women in Mining (IWiM). Our partnership demonstrates our dedication to empowering women in the mining sector, as part of our commitment to create career and leadership opportunities for women to foster gender equality.

DIVERSITY CHARTER

We commit to a workplace with equal opportunities free from discrimination

At Hellas Gold, we have signed the Diversity Charter, an initiative by the European Commission, KEAN (Cell of Alternative Youth Activities) and Diversity Charter Greece for promoting equal opportunities and diversity in Greek businesses.

By accepting the terms outlined in the Diversity Charter, we demonstrate in action our commitment to develop a workplace with equal opportunities free from discrimination. This initiative is inspired by our belief that the right to diversity is the main drive for professional prosperity and the growth of our people, but also the organization itself, which invests in a culture of high-performance and meritocracy.
