Work at the Skouries project

As construction progresses at the Skouries copper and gold mining project, numerous new job opportunities are being created for diverse roles, open to all individuals regardless of gender, age or prior work experience.

​Following the successful completion of the first round of information sessions about new job opportunities at the Skouries Project—held in the local communities of Northeastern Halkidiki in late 2024—Hellas Gold, aims to broaden its pool of candidates to meet the growing demand for highly skilled professionals. The events are open to candidates across a range of specialties. Indicative roles include, but are not limited to: Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Automotive and Automation Engineers, Chemical Engineers, Geologists, Mining and Metallurgical Engineers, Environmental Engineers, IT Systems Engineers.

Let’s get to know each other

Hellas Gold, in collaboration with its construction contractors for the Skouries Project, is extending this initiative with two additional information sessions in Thessaloniki and Athens.

Specifically, the first session will take place in Thessaloniki on Tuesday, February 4, at the Capsis Hotel, and the second in Athens on Thursday, February 6, at the New Hotel, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on both days.

During the first phase of the information sessions held in Northeastern Halkidiki’s local communities, particularly within the Municipality of Aristotle, there was a strong response. Notably, 67.5% of interested candidates were men, while 32.5% were women, highlighting the growing interest of women in the industry—a trend fully aligned with Hellas Gold’s strategic commitment to fostering a culture of equality and inclusion. The candidate evaluation process from the first round is already underway.
